JLCatSync make all categories content to be synchronized, what means that one you add category article "cat1", for example, it will add it to other contents categories, such as web-links, banners, newsfeed and contacts. You edit category and it will be edited in all other content. That’s also work with other actions. For matter of fact, all category actions work with it: publish, unpublish, trash, archived and delete. In addition, you can choose what content types to be sync (within plugin parameters), if you want to sync only few content types.
