JomLand extensions web store brings you JLSuperBanners - smart banners extension that lets you assign banner to Joomla content.

Installation

After install the JLSuperBanners package, you should enable the JLSuperBanners Plug-ins.
Installation and Enable plug ins

  1. Install JLSupperBanners Package in Joomla admin.
  2. In joomla administrator go to menu “Extensions” -> “Plug-in Manager”.
  3. Enable “Content - JLSuperBanners”
  4. Enable “System - JLSuperBanners”

Assing Banner to Content

JLSuperBanners adds simple box to Joomla! native banner which add the ability to attach each banner to content item.
In Joomla administrator go to your banners: “Components”->Banners”. Edit or Create a new banner.
On Banner edit form on slider side (parameters) you would see a new slider called “JLSuperBanners”. Click on this slide and then you can assign the banner to some content.
“Content component” field you select which to which content type you assign the banner (Joomla content category, K2 category and so..).
“Field Value” you choose the specific content from choosen Content Component. (for example: Category X, or Category Y).

The rest of banners setting is like normally like native Joomla banners.

JLSuperBanners Module

After you assign banners to module you should publish the JLSuperBanners Module.
The JLSuperBanners Module is work like any other Joomla module (assign to page and so) and very similar to Joomla Banners module. You should select the Banner categories/client and other parameter just like Joomla banners module.
The only extra parameter is “Contextual display” that tell the module what to do if it doesn’t find banner assigned to current display content item. The options are:
“Display anyway (like Joomla banners module)” => that would display some banner accord to module parameters (banner category/client and so..).
“Don't display any banner!” => if the module doesn’t find assigned banner to the current display content item, it wouldn’t display anything.
